The Clinton Community Fellows Program will provide an opportunity for young business leaders to develop valuable skills and experience by partnering with local businesses & non-profits.
Each year, the Clinton Community Fellows program attracts and exceptional group of entrepreneurial young people who are excited to learn and contribute. During the 10 week summer program, Fellows take responsibility for self-directed projects that provide additional capacity and support to their businesses partners. With supervision and mentoring from the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission, the Wilmington- Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, and Energize Clinton County, Fellows receive additional training in marketing, business plan development, web site development, and social media marketing. Throughout the experience Fellows are provided opportunities to make connections with business and government leaders and encouraged to explore the diverse professional opportunities in our community.
We are looking for businesses and organizations that will provide a great experience to our Fellows while embracing the ideas, creativity, and passion that our Fellows will bring to your business or organization.

Marcy Hawley, publisher at Orange Frazer Press and business partner of the Clinton Community Fellows Program:
“The Clinton Community Fellows Program means local businesses can shake themselves out of their operations status quo, get a hypodermic of energy that's only possible when someone under twenty-five is the room, and end up seeing their own business through new eyes. These hand-chosen students are unique in their problem-solving techniques. Do not stand in their way. Do not use the excuse, ‘They'll leave me/us with more work to do.’ Just tell them your problem and watch the synapses start snapping. Listen and learn. They get it."
