2010 Projects

Each fellow is required to spend a minimum of 30 hours per week working on their local business development projects, and a minimum of 10 hours per week assisting the efforts of local non-profits.
The 2010 Fellows are working on the following:
Business Projects
Books 'N' More -- Working to create a more robust in-store experience that is based on community, service, and eclecticism.
Clinton Memorial Hospital -- Researching and drafting quality reports regarding several medical procedures performed at CMH
For a Song and a Story -- Improve efficiency and ease of internal operations while driving used book sales.
The General Denver Hotel -- Developing strategy for marketing the hotel facilities regionally and state wide.
Janet’s Hallmark/Janet’s Our Store -- Help brand the location's new identity and increase online visibility.
Jen's Deli -- Expanding the restaurant's on-line presence and external relations.
Littleton Respiratory Homecare- Conducting market research for future entry into new markets.
Peppermint Patti's -- Work to drive third quarter marketing while establishing the new ice cream parlour in the community and region.
Orange Frazer Press -- Helping this custom book publisher develop a national social networking strategy.
South Street Gallery -- Assisting the studio to market its services regionally and establish a Wilmington Arts Identity.
Non-profit Projects
Buy Local First Clinton County -- Updating print marketing materials for the campaign and developing a social media workshop for small businesses.
Clinton County Youth Council -- Assiting in efforts to roll out a new campaign to inform the community of its new image and consistent needs.
Energize Clinton County -- Researching rural planning, architecture and design intiatives across the country to understand if a similar approach could be implemented in the Clinton County Community
Lytle Creek Greenway -- Working to construct a new kiosk to inform visitors and volunteers about the site. Maintaining trial and planting indigenous plant species.
